Tigriopus californicus copepods) are cultured using our own Phytoplankton. Tigiopus Pods are attractive large red copepods that swim upwards with a stimulating, jerky swimming motion which is attractive finicky fish and seahorses.
They are perfect for culturing and restocking reef tanks & refugiums, as well as an excellent food for fish, including mandarins, pipefish and wrasses . They breed rapidly producing hundreds of eggs per female. We cultivate them here on site and they are bottled per order and ready to ship out!
