When selecting an Anemone for the aquarium there are a few things to consider besides they type of species. Some species require supplemental feedings as well, please research the species you are purchasing for the best success.
Here are some quick tips:
Water parameters such as specific gravity or salinity should be as close to 1.023 - 1.025 and stable. Water temps should be between 75°F - 82°F (25°C - 28°C) with Ph around : 8.1 - 8.4. Maintaining your water parameters in those ranges plus exporting nutrients out of your water will be the key in keeping any species of anemone healthy. They also love a good amount of flow but you will need to be careful they do not get sucked into the pump or powerheads. Good lighting such as Metal halides, Leds or T5s are also a must. With continued care Anemones can add a wonderful and colorful dynamic to any reef aquarium.
